Large 8, Type I Hair. Medium to darker brown. Mostly smooth with a trace of granularity in the reverse fields. A spur on the right side of the 9 in the date gives this variety its moniker, with the "Horned 9" bold on this example. Late die state with a large cud over ERT. Much nicer for the grade than is normally seen for this variety.
