Small 8, Type II hair. Medium to dark steel. Scattered pitting. VLDS, Breen state IX, nearly terminal, with an arc crack lower right reverse, cud at second 0 of fraction, CA, and (N)ITED. Comes with a note by Grellman calling this coin 4 net 2, and mentioning the reverse cuds. I've handled a single example of the terminal die state, with this specimen being the first example of state IX I've seen.
